The Silliest Virtual Jungle Cruise Panel on Earth
Get ready for one of the funniest Disney panels you’ve ever experienced. Central Coast Pop Expo and the Oh My Geek! podcast bring to you the Silliest Virtual Jungle Cruise Panel on Earth!! You'll hear some of the funniest stories about working at Disneyland straight from the ex-Skippers that created the magic on the original Jungle Cruise.
Normally CCPE and OMG produce this panel only for conventions. With many conventions being cancelled this year we have decided to bring a live version of the panel straight to you! Throughout the broadcast we will also feature some Disney-centric online shops for artists and vendors that have lost income due to conventions being cancelled.

Social Distance Con
For the past several weeks we have seen comic/fan conventions postponed or cancelled across the country. While this has been necessary to help slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus, these cancellations have impacted those that rely on conventions to make a living. Everyone from artists selling sketches to indie publishers selling their books. This also affects vendors selling collectibles and yes, even the organizations that put on these conventions. On top of this, there are also the fans that attend these conventions. They look forward to meeting up with fellow fans, discovering something new, showing off their cosplay creations, meeting their favorite talent, or watching a panel discussion. During all of this, the fans spend money that supports everyone involved. Now that has stopped. Temporarily, we hope.
To make up for it, we are creating an online event to try and help. Central Coast Pop Expo – Social Distancing Edition. (#SocialDistanceCon) This will be a live streamed broadcast where we are looking to interview artists and vendors to highlight their work while directing people to their online shops. We will also be taking cosplay submissions for an online cosplay contest. This event will be free to stream and participate in. Along with this, we plan on having panel discussions and special appearances during the broadcast.
We know that this will not replace the experience of attending a convention in person. Our hope is to bring a little bit of the fun directly to you.
If you are an artist or vendor and you would like to be featured during the broadcast, please email us at: socialdistancecon@gmail.com. We also ask that you email this address if you would like to enter the online cosplay contest.
Central Coast Pop Expo – Social Distancing Edition will take place via the Central Coast Pop Expo YouTube page on Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 PM PST. Please follow Central Coast Pop Expo across social media to keep up on details as they become available.
